Download the Algorithm

Choose the version of the Algorithm for your OS. All downloads are compiled binaries.

1. Get a New Zone

Important: If control.txt is already in your Algo folder, do not get a new zone.

Download control.txt and copy it into your Algo folder.

2. Download the Compiled Algorithm:

3. How to Run

1. Download your OS version.
2. Place it on Desktop or in a folder named Algo.
3. In the Terminal, folder Algo:
4. macOS/Linux: Run “./LbAlgorithm_v2”.
5. Windows: Double-click “LbAlgorithm_v2.exe”.
6. The Algorithm prints zone progress text automatically.
7. Run only one instance of the Algorithm per device — you may submit only one control.txt on Discovery Day, so running multiple copies will not increase your reward.

4. Troubleshooting

• Windows: Click More Info → Run Anyway if SmartScreen blocks it.
• macOS: System Settings → Privacy → “Allow Anyway”.
• Linux: Run: chmod +x LbAlgorithm_v2

5. Sandbox Output
